Common questions
General guidance only. We’ll confirm what applies once we understand your circumstances.
Should I be a sole trader or a limited company?
A company can be more tax-efficient at higher profits and separates your personal and business liabilities, but it brings more administration. We compare both using your expected figures.
What is a confirmation statement?
An annual filing confirming that the details Companies House holds about your company are correct. It must be filed at least once every 12 months, even if nothing has changed.
