General guidance only. We’ll confirm what applies once we understand your circumstances.
When do I need to register for VAT?
You must register if your VAT-taxable turnover goes over £90,000 in any rolling 12-month period, or you expect it to in the next 30 days. You can also register voluntarily below the threshold.
When are VAT returns due?
Most businesses file quarterly. The return and payment are usually due one calendar month and seven days after the end of each VAT period.
